Run The Vines Series 2023 Race #11 - Jason's Hill

After an amazing 6th event last year at Jason's Hill we are looking forward to hosting our 7th annual trail run on this majestic family farm. Jasons Hill got its name from an old shepherd of the name Jason, who used to herd his sheep on the farm. The family have been farming with grapes for six generations, but it is only with the latest generation that the farm got its own winery. Jasons Hill has been producing award winning wines ever since its establishment in 2002. It strives to give people an enjoyable time when visiting the gorgeous area and to have them taste lovely wines and food. The 20km route will take you through the mountain, experiencing almost 3km of single track with two waterfalls and a running stream for drinking water. The 20km route will be a challenging route that should be done with extreme caution at some areas. The other parts of the 5km, 10km and 20km route will meander through the vineyards of Jason's Hill and the neighboring farms true to the Run The Vines tradition. With a lovely kids playing area, good food, great wine and music you have to be part of this special event in the Slanghoek Valley!!
