Run The Vines Series 2023 Race #9 - Welbedacht

Welbedacht pronounced Well-be-duct means well thought in High Dutch and was demarcated in 1830 from the farm Driefontein meaning three fountains in the Wellington district, which was granted by the Dutch Governor, Simon van der Stel, of the Cape Province, the most southern province in South Africa in the early 1700s. The Burger family acquired Welbedacht in 1997 after also buying the neighboring farm and the two farms form the Welbedacht Wine Estate, which means all the wine must be grown, made and bottled on the Estate. On the 16 of September 2023 we will host our 9th event on the Run The Vines calendar for the 2023 season. Come join us for a fun day out with the family. Waterpoints will be available. It is however always advised to be self-sufficient when it comes to hydration when you run. Medals for all. Please do not leave any valuables in your car. You can leave it at registration.
