HI-TEC Walker Bay Outdoor See & Sand (Swim Run Jump)

The HI-TEC Walker Bay Outdoor (WBO) Hermanus is a multi-day multi-discipline outdoor sports and lifestyle festival held in and around Hermanus and the Walker Bay region at the end of April each year. WBO is focused on becoming the worlds coolest outdoor sports festival, and we invite you to be part of that journey. The event features a host of sporting activities. From trail running in the iconic Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, open water swimming in the clear blue whale-coast ocean waters, mountain-biking in the scenic mountains of Hermanus and a sprint triathlon which features as one of the most scenic and enjoyable on the planet. Participants and outdoor enthusiasts are spoilt for choice. The whole event experience is set around being both family and spectator friendly. It is designed so that athletes can participate in two events per day or perhaps a couple over the weekend. Start and finish points are designed for spectators and family to be part of the weekend vibe whilst none of the events are so hard that athletes wont want to indulge in the amazing wine, beer and cuisine that Hermanus has to offer before rising early to experience another day of well-deserved outdoor bliss.
