Lace Up For Cancer Run/Walk

After a lull during the pandemic, the Hospice Palliative Care Association (HPCA) in collaboration with the Cancer Alliance and the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA), are reviving this popular event. Typically held on World Cancer Day, 4 February, our aim is to join in solidarity with cancer patients and raise much needed funds that will help patients access much needed palliative care and holistic support. The 2023 event will be a family-friendly affair with a 3km walk, a 5km and a 10km run/walk held on the scenic Anura Wine Estate in Klapmuts, Stellenbosch. Entry fees range from R100 - R200 and children under-12s participate for free. The first 100 to sign up will received a goodie bag filled with surprises and all proceeds will go to the three organising charities.
